College Woodburnings

These past few months I have been working on mini woodburnings of different colleges. All of these are either 5" x 7" or 8" x 10". I research and select an iconic view of that school, sketch and hand burn each design, and then paint the remaining areas often incorporating the school's colors in the background. Here are a few of them!

Return to Oil Painting

A recent commission work allowed me to try my hand at oil painting again, and I really enjoyed it! I got a chance to experiment with mixing in wax with the paint to add more texture.
